Intercom alternative

Intercom support, without three meters running

Intercom charges for the seat, again for the Copilot that seat uses, and again every time Fin resolves something. klink.cloud is one flat plan with unlimited agents, telephony included, and 1,000 resolved conversations before anything meters.

Intercom figures use the Advanced plan at $85 per seat and Copilot at $29 per seat on annual billing, Fin at $0.99 per resolution, plus an estimate for voice usage, which Intercom bills per minute on top. klink.cloud is the $99 Growth plan with unlimited agents, 1,000 resolutions included, and volume rates above that.

A support inbox against a contact center

Intercom is built around the messenger. The gap shows up the moment a conversation needs a phone line behind it.

Switching questions

Why does the calculator add Copilot to the seat price?

Because a team comparing AI features is comparing Fin and Copilot together. Fin answers customers and Copilot helps the agent, and Intercom prices them separately. klink.cloud includes both sides of that in Kai on every plan, so leaving Copilot out would flatter the wrong platform.

How is $0.99 a resolution different from what klink.cloud charges?

The Growth plan includes 1,000 resolved conversations at $99, then charges $0.20 and falls to $0.08 at volume. Intercom charges $0.99 from the first resolution with no included block, so the gap widens the more work the AI actually does.

We use Intercom for the messenger on our website. Do we lose that?

No. klink.cloud has its own web messenger and SDK, and you can run it on one page while Intercom stays on the rest. Most teams move a single channel first and compare handling times on the same kind of traffic.

Where is Intercom stronger?

The messenger itself is excellent, the product tour and onboarding tooling has no direct equivalent here, and it fits a product led SaaS motion well. If your support is web chat only and never touches a phone line, that gap narrows considerably.
